Format description
Markdown files are text-based files with lightweight markup symbols which define how the text should be formatted. They are frequently used by developers for README files and creating basic documentation. The Markdown format can also be used on many websites and services that allow text-based user generated content, such as Stack Overflow, GitHub, Reddit, Discord, and various forums.
MConverter's Markdown file converter uses the CommonMark flavor, which offers more standardized markup rules.
