For cloud-based conversions, MConverter encrypts your BMP files using the latest technologies, such as TLS 1.3 and HSTS. They are transmitted securely to our cloud service provider’s EU-based data center, which holds internationally recognized ISO 27001 and SOC 2 certifications. There, each conversion is processed in a separate, isolated environment. This technique further reduces the risk of a malicious file impacting other conversions.
Four hours after the conversion is complete, your files are automatically deleted from MConverter’s systems. You can also permanently delete your BMPs and other converted files immediately after finishing the conversion with the trash icon.
When converting on-device, your files never leave your device. MConverter processes them locally. Note: on-device conversions are not yet available for some hardware-intensive formats.
For both cloud and on-device conversions, your files are never scanned or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

Yes, MConverter supports batch converting of multiple BMP files at once. You can even drag and drop folders containing BMPs.

Yes, with MConverter Max you can convert big BMPs, up to 10 gigabytes each.
The free version lets you convert files up to 100 MB. If you need to convert BMP files over 100 megabytes, try MConverter Max. If your files aren’t over 1 GB, then you can use MConverter Plus instead, as it’s cheaper.

For most images, the wait should be less than a minute. If they are animated, it may take a little longer. However, MConverter also supports converting larger images, meaning that it could take a while (up to over an hour, for example).
