Common questions about converting PUB to ODG
Why should I convert my Publisher files to ODG?
ODG files share some functionality with Microsoft Publisher's now-sunset PUB format, so this is a potential way to keep your Publisher files editable in the future. All you'll need is an ODG-compatible editor like LibreOffice Draw.
Is converting PUBs to ODG safe with MConverter?
For cloud-based conversions, MConverter encrypts your PUB files using the latest technologies, such as TLS 1.3 and HSTS. They are transmitted securely to our cloud service provider’s EU-based data center, which holds internationally recognized ISO 27001 and SOC 2 certifications. There, each conversion is processed in a separate, isolated environment. This technique further reduces the risk of a malicious file impacting other conversions. Four hours after the conversion is complete, your files are automatically deleted from MConverter’s systems. You can also permanently delete your PUBs and other converted files immediately after finishing the conversion with the trash icon. When converting on-device, your files never leave your device. MConverter processes them locally. Note: on-device conversions are not yet available for some hardware-intensive formats. For both cloud and on-device conversions, your files are never scanned or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. Join thousands who have trusted MConverter to process over 20,868,001 files so far.
Can I convert PUB to ODG in bulk?
Yes, MConverter supports batch converting of multiple PUBs to ODGs simultaneously. You can even drag and drop folders containing PUBs to convert to ODG. Pasting PUB files and folders copied in the clipboard also works: use Ctrl+V.
Can I convert a PUB file to ODG, if its size is 10 GB?
