How to convert XCF to PSD?

Format description

XCF files are used by the free open-source image editor GIMP to store layers, paths, guides, and other information about images created with the program. XCF files are analogous to PSD files for Adobe Photoshop.
If you do not have GIMP installed, you can view an XCF file by converting it to another image format, such as PNG or WebP.

Are image layers kept?

Yes, the converted PSD file will have the same layers as the original XCF. They are not flattened to a single layer.

How long does it take to convert XCF to PSD?
