Format description
BMP files, also known as bitmap image files, are uncompressed raster images. They contain a file header with a bitmap identifier, width, height and color settings among other information, as well as bitmap pixels with different colors.Because of the lack of any compression, BMP files often have a relatively large file size. Therefore, it may be beneficial to convert such images to newer, better-optimized formats like WebP and AVIF.

How long does it take to convert a file to BMP?
