If you don't know how to listen to a MID file, you can convert it with MConverter to another format you already recognize.

For cloud-based conversions, MConverter encrypts your MID files using the latest technologies, such as TLS 1.3 and HSTS. They are transmitted securely to our cloud service provider’s EU-based data center, which holds internationally recognized ISO 27001 and SOC 2 certifications. There, each conversion is processed in a separate, isolated environment. This technique further reduces the risk of a malicious file impacting other conversions.
Four hours after the conversion is complete, your files are automatically deleted from MConverter’s systems. You can also permanently delete your MIDs and other converted files immediately after finishing the conversion with the trash icon.
When converting on-device, your files never leave your device. MConverter processes them locally. Note: on-device conversions are not yet available for some hardware-intensive formats.
For both cloud and on-device conversions, your files are never scanned or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

Yes, MConverter supports batch converting of multiple MID files at once. You can even drag and drop folders containing MIDs.
Pasting MID files and folders copied in the clipboard also works: use Ctrl+V.

Yes, with MConverter Max you can convert big MIDs, up to 10 gigabytes each.
The free version lets you convert files up to 100 MB. If you need to convert MID files over 100 megabytes, try MConverter Max. If your files aren’t over 1 GB, then you can use MConverter Plus instead, as it’s cheaper.

For most audio files, the wait is usually around a minute. However, MConverter also supports converting larger audio files, meaning that it could take a while (up to over an hour, for example).
