How to convert XCF to PPM?
You can convert XCF to PPM with MConverter in three easy steps:
Choose XCF files from your device or cloud storage
At the top of this page, drag and drop your XCFs.
Alternatively, click on the Browse box to select files with your device's file picker, or copy and paste an XCF file by pressing Ctrl+V (or ⌘+V on Mac).
MConverter can easily import XCFs from Google Drive, OneDrive, and Dropbox.
Converting a folder with XCF files to PPM is also supported: simply paste, drag and drop it, or use the ADD FOLDER button.

Get your PPM files after MConverter has finished processing them
Click on DOWNLOAD ALL to save your PPMs to your default downloads folder, or select SAVE TO to choose another location.
You can also configure automatic file downloads during the conversion process or in the settings menu. When enabled, each PPM file is downloaded as soon as its conversion is complete, without waiting for the others to finish.
If supported by your device, you'll see a Share icon, allowing you to directly send converted files to other apps.

Format description
XCF files are used by the free open-source image editor GIMP to store layers, paths, guides, and other information about images created with the program. XCF files are analogous to PSD files for Adobe Photoshop. If you do not have GIMP installed, you can view an XCF file by converting it to another image format, such as PNG or WebP.
Note: we do not support some files produced by GIMP 2.10 yet. GIMP 2.8 and older is fully supported.

PPM is a Portable Pixel Map image file with support for 24-bit colors. The format is rarely used for non-temporary storage of large images, because PPM does not use compression. This makes it less efficient when compared to other bitmap image formats, such as BMP.
