How to convert WAV to MP3?
You can convert WAV to MP3 with MConverter in three easy steps:
Choose WAV files from your device or cloud storage
At the top of this page, drag and drop your WAVs.
Alternatively, click on the Browse box to select files with your device's file picker, or copy and paste a WAV file by pressing Ctrl+V (or ⌘+V on Mac).
MConverter can easily import WAVs from Google Drive, OneDrive, and Dropbox.
Converting a folder with WAV files to MP3 is also supported: simply paste, drag and drop it, or use the ADD FOLDER button.
Click or tap on MP3 from the list of target formats
You could also use the search box at the top right to quickly find the format you need, whether it's MP3 or something else.
Get your MP3 files after MConverter has finished processing them
Click on DOWNLOAD ALL to save your MP3s to your default downloads folder, or select SAVE TO to choose another location.
You can also configure automatic file downloads during the conversion process or in the settings menu. When enabled, each MP3 file is downloaded as soon as its conversion is complete, without waiting for the others to finish.
If supported by your device, you'll see a Share icon, allowing you to directly send converted files to other apps.

Format description
WAV files are used for storing uncompressed audio. The WAVE format contains the waveform data for the audio track. A major difference between WAV and MP3 is that WAV files do not have compression applied, meaning that the quality is uncompromised. MP3 files use compression. As a result, WAV files are larger in size than MP3 files.
To free up space on your device, you can convert WAV files to MP3s. The slight loss in quality should not be noticeable in most cases.

Format description
MP3 is a commonly used audio format. The audio data is compressed inside the file, which is why MP3 files take up less space than WAV, for example. Even though the audio is compressed, the quality is still good enough for most personal use cases.
