How to convert SRT to VTT?

You can convert SRT to VTT with MConverter in three easy steps:
  1. Choose SRT files from your device or cloud storage
    At the top of this page, drag and drop your SRTs.

    Alternatively, click on the Browse box to select files with your device's file picker, or copy and paste an SRT file by pressing Ctrl+V (or ⌘+V on Mac).

    Converting a folder with SRT files to VTT is also supported: simply paste, drag and drop it, or use the ADD FOLDER button.
  2. Click or tap on VTT from the list of target formats
    You could also use the search box at the top right to quickly find the format you need, whether it's VTT or something else.
  3. Get your VTT files after MConverter has finished processing them
    Click on DOWNLOAD ALL to save your VTTs to your default downloads folder, or select SAVE TO to choose another location.

    You can also configure automatic file downloads during the conversion process or in the settings menu. When enabled, each VTT file is downloaded as soon as its conversion is complete, without waiting for the others to finish.

    If supported by your device, you'll see a Share icon, allowing you to directly send converted files to other apps.

Format description

Abbreviation for SubRip Subtitles. SRT files contain subtitles which can be played together with videos. An SRT file stores information about when each subtitle text should get displayed and then removed, along with a sequential index. Subtitles in the SRT format cannot have formatting, unlike some other subtitle formats, such as SMI (SAMI).
Note: SRT files themselves do not contain the video. They are only used in conjunction with a video.

I love that I can just convert my files from File Explorer, no need opening the app first, just right click and "open with" or the "Share" button and choose "MConverter" immediately or drag the file to MConverter home screen if I'm in a rush. AMAZING APP! I am so glad I found it!! It actually converts WEBM files without the weird bleeds! It's the only app I use to convert cute emotes from any site! I have been looking for years to find an image/gif converter but all the ones I found didn't convert emotes correctly. MCONVERTER DOES!! Hands down, best app!

I tried several programs to convert AI files to PNG, but only this program managed to convert both the text and the image exactly as in the original. The other programs transformed the text using their own fonts, which were not the ones originally used.
