Description
TINI is a Crostini backup file for ChromeOS. Newer Chromebooks offer a Linux environment in a container. This technology is called Crostini by Google. Linux environments on ChromeOS can be backed up to a .tini file from the Chromebook Settings app. TINI files contain some metadata (metadata.yaml file) needed for restoring the container on the same or different Chromebook, as well as the full Linux filesystem with everything saved on it (rootfs directory). If you don't have access to a Chromebook or need to extract some of the files from the container on another device, use MConverter's TINI converter to make it into another archive format.
