Format description
WMA is short for Windows Media Audio. Similarly to WMV, it is based on Microsoft’s Advanced Systems Format (ASF). WMA files can contain song metadata, such as song title, artist, and album. By default, WMA files can be played on Windows using Groove Music or the older Windows Media Player.
For greater compatibility, you may wish to convert WMA to MP3 or another audio format.
