MCTEMPLATE files are world templates for Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. They use archive compression and are similar to MCWORLD files, which are more often used for distributing worlds. To install the world template, once you have installed Minecraft on your device, simply open the MCTEMPLATE file.Bear in mind that these world templates may not be compatible with Minecraft: Java Edition, due to the fundamental differences between the two editions.
